On February 10, 2016, Cleophas (Cliff) Cyr passed away with his family at his side at the age of 77 years after living a full and active life in Legal, St. Albert, Edmonton and Sherwood Park.
It is with sadness in our hearts as well as gratitude for a lifetime of love and memories, we say goodbye to Cliff. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.
He leaves his wife Lucienne–semicolon– three children: Bonita, Ron, and Henriette (Paul)–semicolon– four grandchildren: Madison (Anthony), Andrea (Mark), C.J. (Melissa) and Kirsten (Lee)–semicolon– 8 great- grandchildren: Torretto, Rocco, Aven, Isla, Vienna, Taylinn, Reese, and Jennika–semicolon– and three brothers: Ray (Doreen), Brian, and Blair (Marie-Paule).
Cliff was predeceased by his parents: Lucien and Juliette–semicolon– brother Richard–semicolon– sister Gaetane–semicolon– and stepmother Jeanne.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
