It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Constable Christopher Allan Laubman of Spruce Grove at age 54.
In his last moments, while surrounded by loving family and friends, Christopher managed to retain his ever-present good humour. Chris served nearly 33 years with the RCMP, always respected by his colleagues, and spent his career protecting and serving the citizens of Canada.
Christopher will be remembered for the love and care he gave to his friends and loved ones, as well as his passion for cars, trucks, boats, and most everything in between. Christopher is survived by his sons, Carl and Christian of Edmonton–semicolon– by his father, Carl–semicolon– sister, Lisa of Saint John, NB–semicolon– and by special friend, Wendy. He will be missed by many and will always be in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
Memorial donations in Christopher’s memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, #201, 9452 51 Ave, Edmonton, AB, T6E 5A6.
