On October 11, 2013, Christian Agterbos of St. Albert passed away at the age of 85 years.
Christian will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Maria–semicolon– his daughters Angela Gauthier and Carol (James) Squire–semicolon– his son Ray (Dawn)–semicolon– his grandchildren Megan, Adam, Sarah (Matt), Mark, Jason, Evan, and Samantha–semicolon– his sister Ali–semicolon– his brothers Gerard, Ton, and Joseph–semicolon– and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Dr., St. Albert, on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Children’s Make – A – Wish, 16007 – 118 Avenue, Edmonton T5V 1C7.

We were very sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad and good friend. We did not have to know you for very long to know that your relationship with your Dad was very special. He obviously had a great positive influence in your life and we can only assume has left you with many fond memories. I am overwhelmed that Chris has died. Chris and Rie are the best friends that anyone could ever have. Ron, Dawn, Leslie and I have loved you from the first time we met you. I was shocked to hear that ome Chris got the message of his illnes so shortly after the 60th marriage anniversary. Great joy and great sorrow lie close together.
I hope that you all had time to say goodbye and I hope ome Chris went in peace.
