It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carter Paonessa at the age of 13 years.
Carter was deeply loved by all who knew him. A kind and caring soul, with a smile that lit up a room, Carter will be missed more than words can possibly express.
Mourned by his mother, Christina–semicolon– father Frank–semicolon– sisters, Madison and Kennedy–semicolon– his miney Pat–semicolon– grandma Brenda–semicolon– aunts, Kim and Lori–semicolon– aunts and uncles, Teresa and Ashley, Jeanette and Ryan–semicolon– cousins, Carson, Vincent, Kael, and Lucas–semicolon– as well as a multitude of other loving friends and family.
Carter is predeceased by his aunt Erika–semicolon– papa Vince–semicolon– and grandpa George.

Dear Christina. I am absolutely heartbroken to hear of the loss of your son Carter. You took care of my daughter Alicia and given that you know our history believe me when I say this cuts very close to home. I have struggled with what to write because I worry I’ll say the wrong thing. Finally I decided that the worst “wrong thing” would be to not reach out at all. I think to myself, if I cry every time I think about it, then how can you, his mom, even breathe? I am quite certain that you are well supported by close friends and family but if you ever think there’s anything I can do please just let me know.
