It is with much sadness that the family of Caroline Slater announces her passing following a brief illness. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Loretta, Linda (Stuart), Lorne (Sandra), Nadine (Alfred), Carla and Kevin–semicolon– grandchildren, Jonathan, Katrina, Harrison, Caitlin, Ian, Nicole, Brad, Kyle, Shawn, Simon and James–semicolon– great grandchildren, Lukas and Felix–semicolon– sisters, Agnes (Ken), Betty and Kay (Bob)–semicolon– brother, Joseph (Marcy) as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Caroline was predeceased by her husband, Donald, brother, Edward, and son-in-law, Marc.
Prayers will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Sherwood Park – Mill Woods Funeral Chapel, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton (Meridian Street can only be accessed by heading SOUTH on the Anthony Henday – Hwy 216. The exit ramp is 1 km SOUTH of the Sherwood Park Fwy).
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
