Brian Bruce Holmberg

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we have to announce the passing of Brian Holmberg on Saturday, July 4 at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton.  He fought a lengthy uphill battle but now rests in peace.

 

So loved and sadly missed by his wife, Jackie; daughters, Jodi (Chris) and Kim (Jordan); grandchildren, Kyra, Cameron, Justus, Serenity and Mckayla; brother, Alan (Abbie); sister, Judy (Jim); numerous family and friends.

 

Brian was predeceased by his parents, Sam and Ruby; brother, Gary and sister, Anne.

 

A private family service will be held.

 

Donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society, 13620 – 163 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5V 0B2.

    I met brian after my accident, we shared many conversations at physiotherapy over the years. Ill miss his presence, always charming, willing to talk to anyone, and brighten anyone’s day he crossed paths with. Rest easy big guy.

    I had the tremendous opportunity to be able to work alongside of and get to know Brian during my days with the High Prairie RCMP. He was a staunch supporter of the RCMP and even more to that community with his dedicated service to the Crime Watch Program, among the many other programs and services he was involved in.

    I will miss him dearly and our thoughts are with his family during this very difficult time.
