It is with great sadness that the family of Blanche Dober announces her passing on September 14, 2010.
Blanche will be lovingly remembered by her children, Carol (Neal) Meier, Gary, Wayne (Jeannie), Murray (Trish), Gail (Greg) Wedgewood, Lynn (Darren) Walker–semicolon– her 15 grandchildren–semicolon– her 5 great grandchildren and her siblings, Albert, Alma, Mary and Alice.
Blanche was predeceased by her siblings, Joe, Norman and Alfred.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 pm, September 18, 2010 at St. Michael-Resurrection Catholic Church, 10555 – 50A Street, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Blanche’s name to C.N.I.B, 12010 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5K 0P3.
A special thanks to all of the nurses and staff at the Jubilee Lodge.

Dear Carol, Gary, Wayne, Murray, Gail & Lynn,
It has been a long time since I\’ve seen you Carol, and years since I\’ve seen the rest of you!
I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. I always liked her, rubber hose and all! When I think of her, I remember ALL you \”kids\” and her flinging the hose through the air trying to get your attention! Even with all of you, her house was spotless.
Most of all I remember her bark being worse than her bite and I feel for your loss.
Mom lives with me and gets the Journal. She told me last night that she had seen the notification last week! (she will be 91 in Nov). I am sorry that I missed the opportunity to speak to you in person.
