It was with great sadness hearing of Bernie\’s passing. I have known Bernie through work for nearly twenty years. We worked together at Weyerhaeuser for a number of years and remained a business colleague when Bernie continued his career at AFA. Bernie will be sorely missed and on behalf of myself and Building Products of Canada I express my deepest sympathies to his family.

When we moved into the neighbourhoud, Bernie and his family were very welcoming and we often saw Bernie in the front yard and at church with family by his side. Bernie was very friendly and we enjoyed our neighbourhood visits and we admired his dedication to his family and to Holy Family Parish. Our thoughts are prayers are with his family and Bernie will be greatly missed. (the Bennetts)
