Benoit Louis Gaultier passed away December 10, 2014 in Edmonton at age 87.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Lilianne.
They had seven children: Estelle Minor (Craig), Simone Baryliuk (Nestor), Marie Martin (Tim), Aurel Gaultier (Luella), Larry Gaultier (Barbara), Joanne Merkowsky and Fernand Gaultier (deceased) (Cathy), 24 grand-children and 34 great-grandchildren.
The family sincerely thanks the caregivers of Millwoods Shepherd’s Care Centre.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 18th at 11:00 am at St. Thomas d’Aquin Catholic Church, 8410 – 89 St., Edmonton, with a Vigil Wednesday December 17th at 7:30 pm at Connelly-McKinley’s Downtown Chapel, 10011 – 114 St. in Edmonton. A Graveside Service will take place Friday December 19th at 2:00 pm at the City of Grande Prairie Cemetery, 9505 112 St., Grande Prairie.

J”ai rencontré Benoit et Liliane la première fois lors de leur voyage en France. Ils avaient fait une visite à ma maman qui était la cousine de Benoit. Leurs deux papas étaient frères. La deuxième fois c”est à Edmonton que j”ai rencontré Benoit. Je garde un excellent souvenir de ces deux rencontres très riches en émotion.
