The family of August Kieser are saddened to announce his passing on June 26, 2016 at the age of 82 years.
August is survived by his loving family, spouse of 61 years, Celina–semicolon– children Bill (Michelle), Laurette (Dan) Rivard, Louise (Dale) Banks, Caroline (Albert) Folliet, Maurice (Mary-Lynn), Ivan (Linda), and Sharon Bachand–semicolon– 15 grandchildren–semicolon– 18 great-grandchildren–semicolon– brothers, Leonard (Sharon), and Joseph (Meriem)–semicolon– sisters-in-law, Rena and Laurette Kieser–semicolon– brother-in-law, Henri Lefevre–semicolon– as well as numerous relatives and friends.
August was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Josephine, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, son-in-law, Denis Bachand, 1 grandchild, and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at St. Jean Baptiste Parish, 10020 100 Ave, Morinville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sturgeon Hospital Foundation, or the St. Jean Baptiste Restoration Fund.
