
It is with great sadness that Tony’s family announces his passing on January 1, 2017, at the age of 60.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Debbie–semicolon– children, Holly and Stephen–semicolon– parents, George and Rose–semicolon– siblings, John, Betty, and Peter–semicolon– brother-in-law Don (Leona) Yez–semicolon– numerous relatives and friends.
Tony was a passionate steward of catholic education as a trustee for 18 years with the Elk Island Catholic School Division and served as Vice President, President, and Past President of the ACSTA and was Vice President of the CCSTA. He was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and was very involved with his parish. Tony was an avid hockey player and an active member of the Sherwood Park hockey community. He will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives he touched.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 13 Bower Drive, Sherwood Park. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the same location at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kids with Cancer Foundation, Neurosurgery Kids Fund, or to the REAL Foundation.
