
Our family is saddened to announce the passing of our Mother Nancy Dornan on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the age of 89 years.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her 5 children and 6 grandchildren–semicolon– Brian, Irene (Gaetan) Tremblay and their children Gaetan Jr. and Ian, Mary (Dan) McDonough and their children Patrick, James and Erin, Tom and daughter Caitlin–semicolon– and her Mother Georgina Kenny, and Kevin (Peggy).
Also to mourn her loss is Brother and Sister, Jimmy and Frances Collins in Co. Clare, Ireland, also Sister Maura Christie and her family, Rita, Mary, Ann and Mark in Manchester, England, as well as numerous members of the Dornan family in Ireland and the U.S.A., and many dear friends in Edmonton.
Nancy was predeceased by her loving Husband, Thomas Dornan on January 27, 1994–semicolon– and Doug and John Christie. Their reunion in Heaven will be a Celebration.
A Prayer service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 12810-111 Ave., Edmonton. Interment will follow Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy’s memory to St. Michaels Adult Day Support Program, 7404-139 Ave., Edmonton, AB T5C 3H7. Please make cheques payable to St. Michaels Extended Care Centre Society.

Hello Everyone, I am sorry for your mother”s passing, and I know she instilled in you a great love for family. I am grateful to have met her, once, many years ago, and for knowing Irene as my first roommate and Brian as the best dancer I ever knew.
