Amy (Byrne) Petrescu of St. Albert, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at the age of 68, after a long battle with cancer.
Amy was predeceased by her parents, Clarence Byrne (1982) and Loretta Byrne (nee Molloy) (1989)–semicolon– her husband Dennis Petrescu (2010)–semicolon– her older brother Tom Byrne (2013), and older sister Louise Byrne Greenlees McLean (2017)–semicolon– her step-daughter Joelene Petrescu (2014)–semicolon– her grandchildren Ashley Petrescu (2017)and Nicholas Drier (2017).
Amy is survived by her daughter Darcy McLean (Darci Tallas), grandchildren Breanna and Tyson Tallas –semicolon–daughter Chandra Brown (Shane), grandchildren Cherica and Tristan Brown–semicolon– daughter Miranda Coulson (Jason), and grandchildren Hailey and Josh Coulson–semicolon– son Brent McLean (Michelle), grandchildren Aiden and Jaxson McLean–semicolon– grandchildren Tyler Drier and Melissa Fiorello–semicolon– her older brother Clarence Byrne–semicolon– and youngest brother Steve Byrne (Barb). Also surviving Amy are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Amy’s life will be held at 11 am, on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the St. Albert Legion, 6 Tache Street, St. Albert, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Amy can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
