Alice passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on December 18, 2014 at the age of 72 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Lisa (Giuliano Blasco) Sereda, Melanie Mazurek and Yolanda (Richard) Reimer–semicolon– grandchildren: Steve and Sam Sereda, Matthew, Zachary and Joseph Mazurek, Alexia and Elizabeth Reimer–semicolon– sister, Jenny Bererton–semicolon– as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Alice was predeceased by her husband, Steve–semicolon– parents, Melanie and Louis Bedner–semicolon– and brother, Ed.
Special thanks to mom’s caregiver, Tammy McDonald, for the commitment and compassion shown towards our mom.
Prayers will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Downtown Chapel, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 210 Haddow Close NW, Edmonton. Interment to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton.

I am writing with respect to Mrs. Nemitias she was my grade 5 teacher. You have to understand that this is the teacher that I will never forget and has always been my favorite teacher. I am now 51 years old and to this day when I talk friends about our childhood memmories she is always mentioned and remembered. I was very sad to hear that she had passed away. She will always remain big in my heart and my condolences go to your whole family. She will never be forgotten
