It is with great sadness that the family of Alexander “Sandy” Hubert McRae announce his passing at the age of 91 years, at the Citadel Village in St. Albert, Alberta.
Sandy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Margaret–semicolon– his three children, Cherlyn, Sharon (Nimer) Baker, and Ross (Deb)–semicolon– six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.. Sandy is also survived by his sister, Theresa Gregory–semicolon– brother, Martin (Carol)–semicolon– sisters-in-law, Agnes and Carolyn–semicolon– members of the Joyal family and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandy was preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Mullan–semicolon– siblings and their spouses: Dan and Margaret, Anita and Emile Comeau, Clarence, John and brother-in-law, Buckley Gregory.
The family would also like to thank the medical team, staff, and caregivers at the Citadel Mews in St. Albert for the care they provided for Sandy and his family over the last year and a half.
