On September 11, 2010, Aimo Joel Pitkanen of Edmonton passed away at the age of 82 years.
Aimo was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth–semicolon– son, Paul–semicolon– and son-in-law, Jonathan. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Maria, Irma (Jim), Leila (Bob) and Andy–semicolon– 13 grandchildren–semicolon– and 5 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Aimo’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton, with Maarit Otto officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Glenrose Rehabilitation Centre, 10230 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5G 0B7.
