
With great sadness, the family of Agnes Nichols announces her passing in Edmonton, AB at the age of 93 years.
Agnes was born in Paradise Hill, SK and lived most of her life in the area. A little over two years ago she suffered a stroke. Since then she had been living at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre in Lloydminster and more recently at the Covenant Health Edmonton General. The Nichols family will forever be grateful for the care and comfort that was provided by the staff at the Cooke and the General.
She enjoyed life to the fullest. Up until a few years ago, she was an avid gardener, curler, bowler and community volunteer. Agnes was loved by everyone she touched, was a well respected member of her community and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by sons Cal (Edna) and Gary (Elaine)–semicolon– grandchildren Ken (Aimee), Brian (Beth) and Kristine (Scott)–semicolon– great grandchildren Grace, Sarah, Josh, Maximus, Joel and Katie–semicolon– one sister Jane and numerous nieces and nephews.
Agnes was predeceased by her parents Anton and Annie Palsich–semicolon– her step mother Helen–semicolon– and her husband Manford (1968)–semicolon– her four sisters Mary, Anne, Margaret and Edna–semicolon– her five brothers Tony, John, Joe, Frank and Dan.
Upon her request, Agnes will be laid to rest beside Manford in Paradise Hill at a private memorial.
