
Adrian passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday, November 28th 2011.
Adrian will be remembered with love by Teresa, his wife of 61 years, as a wonderful husband and loving father to their 9 children, 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren: KC (Marian Lips–semicolon– Jen & Hilary), Vincent, deceased 2000 (son, Clayton), Brien, Mary Jane [Greg Grooms–semicolon– Fiona (Mark Barker, John), Ian (Heather Webb–semicolon– Noemi), Peter, Catherine & Emily], Sally (Marlo Baydala–semicolon– Jasper, Louis & Martina), Virginia (Ken Stratton–semicolon– Patrick, Laura & Mary), Linda (David Morris), Nancy (Marc Schneider–semicolon– Claire & Xavier), Roger (Jane Cutbush–semicolon– Hayley & Jeremy).
Adrian was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and moved to Saskatoon in 1939, where he followed his father and grandfather into Law at the University of Saskatchewan following WW II, graduating in 1950 and moving to Edmonton with his wife Teresa. Adrian had a long and interesting 45 year legal career as both a trial lawyer and solicitor to his many business clients. After retiring from the practice of law in 1995 Adrian and Teresa spent the majority of their time at their home on Lake Edith in Jasper.
Reverend Jozef Wroblewski will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9830-148 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
Adrian’s family would like to thank the staff and management of the Edmonton General Continuing Care Facility for the dignity and care which they provided to Adrian in his last year. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Caritas Foundation, 3C60, 11111 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5K 0L4.
