Richard Mack says
It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of my dearest Auntee Renee. She was a kind and gentle soul. I always enjoyed going with Murray to visit Renee at her residence. I have so many fond memories of visiting her home. I moved to Alberta in 1979, and loved to spend time at her home. I could play football with Murray and Tim, and not surprisingly, was invited for supper. Renee always had a plate of food for any guest who would drop by. She was the peacemaker in her house. She cared for her husband Howard with paitence and kindness. Her boys were the joy and pride in her life. Later, when I was a Student-Teacher at Queen Elizabeth High School, she was a Custodian. All the students called her “Mom” and really looked at her fondly. Renee cared for Tanner and Bailey so they did not have to be in Daycare, and devoted her time and energy to see them grow into amazing adults. There is also joy to remember a life well lived, of a selfless, caring person. -Richard (Ricky) Mack /Monique Raymond

I grew up knowing Aunt Renee as a very kind, selfless, aunt who never had a negative thing to say about anyone or anything. She and my mother shared letters over the years which Mom would share with me. She had a meticulous hand writing which impressed me along with what she wrote. She was an amazing baker , homemaker, and smart woman , but also humble and unaffected by all the issues of the day. I loved her dearly and her memory will stay in my heart always.
