Obituary
 
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Antoinette Valentine Holtner of Edmonton at the age of 88 years. Antoinette will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ed (Andrea), Chris (Tim) Newbury, Tony, and Rita (Kevin) McDade; grandchildren, Erin Newbury, Gordon (Cristy), Roberta, Jamie Salloum, Sheena Newbury, Nathan Salloum, Nicholas and Julisa; great-granddaughter, Arianna Jade; sister, Mariette Van Aerde; sister-in-law, Val Adamson; and numerous family and friends. Antoinette was predeceased by her husband Gerald; grandson, Callum Newbury; and her parents and sisters. Prayers will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 7508 - 29 Avenue, Edmonton on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 7:30 pm. Reverend Jim Corrigan will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 10:30 am, at the same location. Cremation to follow. In memory of Antoinette, donations may be made to: The Alzheimer’s Society, 10531 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5H 4K1 A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Place Beausejour and St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital for their care and compassion.
