Obituary
 
It is with immense sadness but gentle relief we announce the passing of Diddy. She passed away peacefully in her 96th year.

She will be remembered for her gentle soul and compassion for others and her never failing sense of humor. She was loved and cherished by all that knew her. Despite her declining health in the last three years, she was kind and generous to those around her. She fondly remembers her years spent working at Strathcona High School.

She will be in the hearts of her loving daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Ralph Killips, her daughter-in-law Sylvia Campbell and her special stepdaughter Judy Story. She will be missed by her grandchildren Scott and Amy, Dwight, Trevor and Faye, Tracy and Christopher and spouses and seven great grandchildren with the eighth due in June.

Mom was predeceased by her first husband Gordon Campbell (1963), her second husband John Halls (1984), her stepson Johnny Halls (1989) and her son Ken Campbell (2003).

At my Mother's request there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Alberta Lung Association, #208 17420 - Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, T5S 1K6 or Youth Emergency Shelter 9310 - 82 Avenue Edmonton T6C 0Z6

We would like to thank all the staff of Citadel Continuing Care in St. Albert, especially the staff of Grasslands and Dr LaBuick and his nurse Carol for all his years of caring and excellent service.
