On September 6, 2011, Minnie Cournoyer passed away at the age of 93 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Minnie is survived by her sister, Lydia (Tony) Reichert; bother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dan and Therese Cournoyer; nieces and nephews, Wallace (Lorraine) Pfeiffer, Phyllis (Lou) Lorincz, Florence (Joe) Kelsch, Clara (Sol) Sieben, Frieda Morrow, Sylvia (Dan) Hartley, Juliana (Duaine) Oberst, Gloria (Michael) Smith, Janet (Phil) Mackell, Larry Ries, and Eileen Mackell, as well as all of her god-children.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; sister, Sophie; brothers, Ralph and Alois as well as her twin brother, Peter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, September 9, 2011 at St. Albert Parish, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, with interment to follow at St. Albert Cemetery. A Visitation will be held for one half hour prior to mass.
