Obituary

On his 41st birthday, Dean Michael Perkins passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 16 years, Sharlene and their two beautiful children, Megan and Ethan; parents, Suzanne Kyle (Mark Marsden) and Art Perkins (Gail) as well as many extended family members and dear friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Winnifred Nunas and Luba Perkins. Dean’s passion was music, particularly playing guitar and his trumpet with the CMS. He developed and carried close to his heart, many deep and lasting friendships throughout his life. Above all, Dean’s greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family. A Celebration of Dean’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2011 at Connelly-McKinley Sherwood Park-Mill Woods Chapel, 4820-Meridian Street, Edmonton (Meridian Street can only be accessed when heading SOUTH on Anthony Henday – Hwy 216). A private, real-time Webcast will be available for those who are unable to attend the service. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in Dean’s name at www.braintumour.ca.
