Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Teleske at the age of 91 years. Bill will be forever remembered by his foster son Sonny Edden (Carlene); foster granddaughter Shannon and Jolene and their children. He also leaves 2 sisters, Mary Close and Nettie Keylor, numerous friends, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Katherine; his parents and 5 brothers. Bill was born and raised in Edmonton; he joined the army at 20 years of age. He served with the Loyal Edmonton Regiment. After the war he joined the militia as a Warrant Officer retiring in 1970. He was an ardent hunter, fisherman and gardener. Bill was a member of the Fort Edmonton Historical Foundation. A visitation will take place on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Connelly- McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, AB. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Donations, in memory of Bill, may be made to Sisters of Providence, 3005-119 St., Edmonton, AB, T6J 5R5
