On June 11, 2011, Lynn Cote, our loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital.
Lynn will be dearly missed by her mother, Dorothy “Millie”; sister, Dorothy and her husband, Jerry (Ewasiuk); her brother, Bob as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many dear friends. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph in 1966. Lynn was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where she spent her entire life. Lynn’s life was about serving others in this community. She was a hospital nurse, a public health nurse, an associate Professor of Nursing at the University of Alberta and a member of Health Link Alberta. Lynn had a passion for jewelry making and had become a respected artisan in her craft. She also found great comfort and purpose in studying Buddhism and meditation with some of her dear friends.
A Celebration of Lynn’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton.
