Bob was born in Winnipeg, and grew up near the Red River where he leaned to
fish, swim and canoe. In 1975 he married Ruth and moved to Calgary where he
worked as an accountant for a junior oil company. He joined ATCO when it
was still run out of its founder\'s basement, selling trailers, camps,
portables, even schools all over western Canada. Later he joined a start-up
modular building company in Edmonton, after which he become a partner in a
several residential construction companies. He never really retired,
keeping his hand in ongoing construction projects.
Bob was respected as a man of his word and for his integrity. He got things
done. He did his way. We will miss his blue eyes, charm and personability.
