Obituary
 
On May 16, 2011, Sister Marie Fortin, Fille de Jesus of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the General Hospital at the age of 101 years, less five days and 79 years of religious profession. She leaves to mourn her loss, the members of her religious community, Les Filles de Jesus, one Sister-in-law, Nancy Fortin and numerous nephews and nieces. Reverend Alphonse Roy OMI will celebrate the Mass of Resurrection at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 8410 - 89 Street, Edmonton, on Thursday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 – St. Albert Trail at 1:45 p.m.. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the General Hospital, Continuing Care Center, Unit 4, 11111 – Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5K 0L4.
