Don made his last save on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, with his family by his side at the age of 77 years.
With broken hearts, he leaves to cherish his memory, Lynn, wife of 52 years; two beloved sons, Leigh (Colleen), Jay; as well as Shelby, Suki, and Baxter his furry pals; nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
He was predeceased by his father, James William Crockett (1951); mother, Muriel Grace Rogers (1980) two sisters, Margaret and Arlene.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Max Findlay and the amazing staff at the Neuroscience ICU, Unit 4A4, U of A Hospital, where he coined the term “Nag Magnet”. We came to know you all so well.
A Celebration of Don’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Derrick Club, 3500-119 Street NW, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don’s memory to the charity of your choice.
