Obituary
 
It brings us great sadness to announce the passing of Robert Edwin Calvert on May 7, 2011 at the age of 88 years. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, and humility.

Robert will always be loved and cherished by his daughter, Linda (Lorne) Duffield. Sharing in the loss he leaves his grandchildren, Robert (Nadien) Lemermeyer, Sue (Kevin) Lemermeyer, Tyler (Melissa) Lemermeyer; his great grandchildren, Katja and Yuri Lemermeyer; his sister, Mary Numa; and the Seidel family. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Lavina Calvert and their son, Monte Calvert.

The family extends appreciation to the staff at Devonshire Village and the University of Alberta Hospital, Unit 5E2, for their compassion and care.

A Celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 am, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the WIN House, 3825-118 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5W 0Z8.
