On March 22, 2011, Jeannie Saulnier of Fort McMurray passed away surrounded by loving family.
She was predeceased by her mom, Ruth; father, Donald; mother-in-law, Anita; and father-in-law, Harvey. Jeannie is survived by her daughters, Micheline “Missy” (Desmond) and Vicki (Dwayne); son, Jody (Twyla); grandchildren, Marcel, Jessica, Joshua, Garrett, Morgan, Destiny, Gabriel, Chelsey, Joshua, Cody and Corey; great-grandchildren, Jayda, Damien, Isaac, and two more due this year; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, friends and extended family; and her dog, Pookie.
Jeannie was born in Ontario and lived in Fort McMurray, Alberta and Memramcook, New Brunswick. Her heart and soul belonged to Memramcook Valley. Jeannie loved sewing, cooking, crafts, and the view of the valley from her living room window (This was so important to mom; she loved the valley so very much.). She loved to cook for her family and friends, was very outgoing and well respected by all. She lived in Fort McMurray with her daughters for the last five years.
Cremation has occurred and a Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Tarsands Lions Club, 1 Tolen Drive, Fort McMurray, AB between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will also be held at 9:00 am on Friday, June 3, 2011, at St. Thomas Church, St. Joseph, New Brunswick.
