Obituary

Peggy was born in Hamiota, Manitoba to Thomas and Isabella Kerr (Robertson) with a brother, Dave, and a sister, Catherine.

The family moved to Speers, SK in 1919. She received her education in Speers and North Battleford Collegiate. Peggy obtained her teaching degree in Saskatoon and taught in that area for 13 years. She finished her teaching career in the Shellbrook area combining 30 plus years of service.

Peggy met and married Louis in 1942 and they had two children: Lynn (Wayne) Simpson and David Senum. At the time of her death, Peggy had seven grandchildren: Dean (Shelley) Simpson, Norah (Brett) Bowers, Carolyn (Darren) Reich, Richelle (Rich) du Cloux, Scott Simpson, Laurel (Byron) Tumbach, Darren (Tammy) Senum. She was extremely proud to have eighteen great grandchildren: Ryan, Keisha, Brendan and Dayton Senum; Carson and Morgan Tumbach; Chantelle, Teagen, Breanna and Brayden Simpson; Noelle, Brady and Bria Bowers; Dylan, Sydney and Kamryn du Cloux; Raquel and Nathan Reich. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Louis in 1988; her mother, Isabella; her father, Thomas; her brother, Dave; and her sister, Catherine.

Peggy was very active in her church, in her family, and her community. She took the time to get to know people and spent many hours with family and friends. She loved to help and did so with a smile and a sense of humour. She was very kind and soft spoken. She had a way, when the situation required, of turning disasters in trivialities. In her own words, she led a long and rewarding life. Peggy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In Loving Memory of
Margaret Senum
