Obituary
 
On January 16, 2011, Reverend Jose Sugay of Edmonton passed away at the age of 84 years.

Jose is survived by his three sisters, Cenen Guevarra of the Philippines; Josie Damaso (Orly) of Edmonton; and Ollie Halili (Jose) of Los Angeles; and one brother, Aimon (Rebecca) Sugay of the Philippines; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Jose is predeceased by three sisters.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Lifestyle Options Terra Losa, as well as the Doctors and the Nurses at the Misericordia Hospital.

Friends and family may pay their respects at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 St., from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on Monday, January 24, 2011 with a Prayer Service to take place at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Basilica, 10044-113 Street on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 10:00 am with Most Reverend Joseph McNeil, J.C.D., D.D., presiding. A private interment will take place in the Philippines at a later date.
