Our family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of Brian Joseph Puchala on Wednesday, December 15th, 2010 at the age of 54 years.
Brian will forever be remembered by his loving wife, Julie; children: Jennifer (Keith), Gillian, Jaclyn, Geoffrey, Jody, Jordan; grandchildren: Kirsten, Izabella and the families faithful companion, Shelby. He is also survived by his mother Helen; brother, Russell (Lisa); his mother and father-in-laws, Douglas and Shirley Smith; sister-in-laws: Beverly (David), Delyth (Sean); and brother-in-law Kevin (Gina); numerous nieces and nephews and very close friends: Al, Lonnie, Lorne, and Tim. He will be missed by all of his relatives and friends.
His father Joe, uncles Stan and Hank and grandparents will welcome him with open arms and Bailey, the family beagle will be singing her usual welcome.
Brian began his working career at Consolidated Concrete at the age of eighteen. His dedication to his work was evident in both the hours spent at his job and his rise in the corporate business. He was held in high esteem by all employees at Inland Aggregates and took pride in their accomplishments.
Brian was a warm, generous devoted family man, a willing community volunteer, and will be remembered for his enthusiasm, energy and enjoyment of life. He enjoyed playing hockey, watching the game at all levels and volunteering with Morinville Minor Hockey and the Jets Hockey Team. Brians greatest passion after his family was golfing, and he spent many hours improving his score. Brian loved going to the cabin where he and his family found total peace. All who have met Brian will remember his ready smile and kind words.
