Obituary
He was a man of wisdom, strength and integrity, committed to his family, his friends and his country. Earl Stuart “Bud” passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, September 11, 2013, after a life well lived.
Left to cherish Bud’s memory is his loving and devoted wife of 69 years, Anna Marie. He leaves a legacy of love in his children, Don (Leslee), Darcy (Clarice), Wendy, Carol (Greg) Cameron, and Colleen (Peter) Cavanagh. He took great pride in his 16 grandchildren, Joshua, Emily, Anna, Jim, Maggie, Kelly (Rob), Matthew (Liz), John (Ashleigh), Ian, Mark, David, Kate, Jamie, Leah, Mary, and Nicholas; as well as two great granddaughters, Elise and Cameryn. Bud is also survived by Cheryl Brabbins; sister-in-laws; Kathleen Lauerman and Joyce Brabbins; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by many more who thrived through his mentorship, and caring, straightforward nature.
Sincere thanks to our Canterbury Lane family and to the wonderful staff of the Misericordia Hospital for their dignified and compassionate care.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, officiated by Rev. Paul Kavanagh.
