Sharon Lynn Brodie



It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Lynn Brodie announces her sudden passing on March 16, 2013 at the age of 50. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Walter and Marlene; sister Lydia; precious niece and nephew Courtney and Austin Newsham; dear friends Marilyn Landreville and Maria Macor; numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Stanley and Jennie Brodie and Bill and Anne Ketsa. Sharon was a devoted teacher and vice principal with the Edmonton Catholic School Board for 28 years. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her students whose lives she touched. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Chapel, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 75 Poirier Avenue, St. Albert. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in Sharon’s memory may be made to University of Alberta Library (donations)Bonnie Martin, 5-02 Cameron Library University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2J8.
