On November 4, 2010 at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, we said goodbye to a great man. Cy’s journey through this life ended and he was called by God to his eternal reward. A wonderful husband of 50 years, proud Grandpa and a great Dad, he leaves to mourn his passing and to remember him fondly, his beloved wife, Bea; sons, Ken (Sylvia) and Terry (Nancy) of Calgary; grandchildren, Craig (Kathy), Robert, Gary (Carolyn), Kerry (Darren) Kinney; great grandchildren, Camryn, Kale and Edie; sister-in-law, Margaret (Larry) Hall of Flin Flon as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cy also leaves behind many friends he made in business and in retirement. Loyal, kind and loving, Cy, along with Bea, built a good life together, enjoying golf at the Glendale and in Arizona, plus their many trips to Hawaii. In business, he ”wrote the book” on customer service. In his personal life, he was devoted to his family and was a good friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
