Obituary
 
Herb Philpott passed away peacefully, at the age of 92, in Edmonton, on Friday, June 1, 2012. He will be greatly missed and always loved by his family; son Ross of Toronto, Ontario; daughter Kathryn (Ron Schlegelmilch) of Edmonton, Alberta; grandsons Michael and Timothy Schlegelmilch of Edmonton; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Herb was predeceased by his beloved wife Muriel (nee Munharvey); his only brother James Philpott (Phyd); and his nephew Peter Philpott. A Memorial Service will be held in Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday, June 9, 2012. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the World Vision of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, for the tremendous care that Herb received.
