Obituary
 
It is with great sadness that Roy’s family announces his sudden passing on Friday, June 29, 2012 at the age of 64 years. Roy is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Barbara; five sisters, Stella, Joyce, Blanche, Rose, and Pauline as well as one brother, Fred, plus numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. A Celebration to honor Roy’s life will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to offer a grateful thank-you to the staff at the Misericordia Hospital for their care and compassion during Roy’s final weeks. Charitable donations in Roy’s memory may be made to Henwood Treatment Centre, RR 6, LCD 1, 18750 – 18 Street, NW, Edmonton, AB T5K 4B3.
