Obituary
 
The family of Marie-Paule Lynch announces her passing at the age of 83. She passed away peacefully with family at her side. Marie-Paule was born in Ottawa, Ontario to Theophile and Louise (nee Menard). The youngest of ten children, she is survived by her sister Claire Soubliere. Following marriage to Dr. Stephen Lynch on August 13, 1955, the couple resided in Michigan, Bonnyville and eventually settled in Edmonton and St. Albert. Prior to retiring, Marie-Paule spent many years enjoying her career as a teacher. She was predeceased by her husband in 1973. Her surviving family of three daughters, Kathleen Nachtigal (Ken), Adele Lawrence (Bill) and Maureen Lynch-Savard (Rod) as well as grandchildren Stephen, Erin, Logan and Alex brought much joy and pride to her life. The family would like to thank Dr. Simon and the staff and caregivers at Lifestyle Options (Terra Lossa), Norwood CHOICE and the Misericordia Hospital. A Prayer Service will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 22 at St. Joseph’s Basilica, 10044-113 Street, Edmonton. Cremation and private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society www.alzheimer.ab.ca.
