Obituary
 
It is with great sadness that the family of John Stayko Sr. of Edmonton, Alberta announces his sudden passing due to a heart attack on Friday, June 15th with loved ones by his side.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Vivian of 54 years; three sons and one daughter, John (Brenda), Cindy (Keven) Card, Lorne (Wendy), Jeff (Angie); seven grandchildren, Kurtis, Lisa, Tyler, Haley, Mark, Megan and Madison; three sisters, Anne, Olga and Lillian; five brothers, Steve, Bill (Sylvia), Joe (Darlene), Don and David; brother-in-law, John West and numerous family and friends.

John was predeceased by his dear mother, Mary.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton.

A Funeral Service and a Celebration of John’s Life will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Kirk United Church, 13535 - 122 Avenue, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
