Obituary
 
It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Richard (Dick) Malone announces his passing at the age of 80 years after a brief illness with Multiple Myeloma. Richard passed away peacefully with his family at his side.

Left to celebrate Richard's life is wife of 51 years Jean, son, Dwayne (Susan) Malone, daughter, Karen Malone, cherished grandchildren, Ashley (Carlos) Malone-Rodriguez, Craig Malone (Tanya), Megan Malone, and great Grandchild, Aaliyah Malone. Also left to remember is Richard's brother, George (Ollie) Malone and sister, Margaret (Vern) Brackett, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and former co-workers and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Anna Malone and his sister, Eileen Josey.

Dick began his career as an Insurance Claims Adjuster with Equifax Inc (ex Retail Credit). Following his 25 years of service, he then went on to spend 20 years as a Building Inspector with the Alberta New Home Warranty program. Following his retirement in 1997, Dick spent many days on the links as an avid golfer.

A Funeral Mass for family members only will be held on Saturday, June 09, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Albert Catholic Parish, 7 St. Vital Ave, St. Albert, AB.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard's name to the Hope Mission, P.O. Box 953, Edmonton, AB T5J 2L8, to help care for impoverished and homeless people in the city of Edmonton.
