Condolences

I knew Les as the Head Carpenter at the Citadel Theatre. He built a large number of my shows when I was designing there. His ingenuity, attention to detail, sense of humour in the most stressful of times, and overall spirit of generosity will never be forgotten. He was (and is, in memory) a great guy. We invented some pretty wonderful things together.

Cody, Kirsten and Becky - sincere sympathy - our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your Dad was a good man - he was a thoughtful and fun loving person who talked about you all the time - he was very proud of his kids. Les was Brian's best friend for 40 years - will especially miss the fishing trips and regular visits after work. We're finding comfort in the wonderful memories we have of "Lester B" but will miss him greatly. Sincerely Brian & Elaine Gribben

Cody, Kirsten, Becky and families, I am so sorry to hear that we lost Les. He was always one of my favorites and I know he will be sorely missed. Mom, Mike and I are thinking of you and your families in this difficult time. Please know that you are in our prayers. Let us know if there is anything that we can do. Love, Krista, Mike and Tanis
posted by Krista Weaver : We first met Lester B when he was on the fire department with Dad, he was also our neighbor for quite a few years. I will always have good memories of Les, his good nature, his quick laugh and the joy that he took in life. One of my favorite memories is the year that we invited him over for Thanksgiving dinner and had to get him to cook the turkey for us because our oven quit that morning. He was loved and will be missed. : Sep 26, 2011

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Les. My thoughts are with you all.
