Condolences

It is with the deepest sadness that I learned of the passing of my dear friend Henry, who I have had the pleasure to know for more than twenty years. Back in the eighties and nineties, Henry and I had a lot of good times and shared a lot of laughter together. We worked hard and played hard off and on the ice, the golf coarse and in the board room. Henry was always passionate about helping his community and dedicated his life to serving his people. I will miss him terribly. My deepest symphathy and condolences to Henry's wife and children at this most difficult time. Henry may be gone, but he will always live on in my heart and in my fondest memories.
posted by Richard brant : Henry and I worked together when he was with Treaty Six Confederacy in the Economic Development Program, when he was the Head of the Alexander School Board and when he was a Councilor for Alexander First Nation. We played hocky together on the Alexander Team when we played at Calihou, Alberta. The last game of hockey that I ever played was with Henry. We loved to play golf at the Ranch and JR's. For a while back then, we were inseparable. : Apr 15, 2011

Eyren and I met Henry at the U of A in March 2010 where we were both involved in the Pre-Transplant program. He was truly a warm and humble man and we became brothers in waiting. Over the last year we held out hope that Henry would be fortunate enough to enjoy the luxury of spending additional years of life with his family through the Transplant Program. We are devastated to learn of his passing and wish his family strength to see them through this time of sorrow. Henry will be welcomed into God's safe and loving arms away from his pain and suffering. Eyren, Connie, Cameron and I extend our deepest sympathy. Please accept our thoughts and prayers for you at this time of great sorrow. Jim, Eyren Semper and family.

It is with our hearts saddened to hear of the loss of our dear friend that we pass on our deepest condolences to his family and his community. We will miss the easy smile that came to his face whenever we met and his committment to his community which was always unwavering.
